During the first quarter of 2022, the top five educational games on the Android platform in Costa Rica demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at each app's performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Lingokids - Play and Learn experienced fluctuations in its weekly metrics. Weekly revenue saw a notable peak at $652 in the week of February 21, while downloads hit their highest point at 3.2K in the week of January 24. The app’s active users climbed steadily from 2.9K at the start of the quarter to a peak of 5K in late January, before settling at around 3.7K by the end of March.

Buddy.ai: Fun Learning Games showed moderate performance throughout the quarter. Revenue peaked at $134 in the week of February 21, with weekly downloads reaching a high of 1.7K in the week of January 10. Active users, however, saw a decline from 2.1K in early January to 1.3K by the end of March.

Babyphone & tablet: baby games maintained a consistent download rate with a peak of 996 in late December, gradually decreasing to 585 by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 2.4K and decreasing to 1.8K.

Masha and the Bear Educational had a stable quarter with a significant download peak of 843 at the start, and a consistent decline to 468 by the end of March. Active user numbers were robust, starting at 6.8K and, despite some fluctuations, remained around 4.8K by the end of the period.

Numbers for kid Learn to count saw its highest downloads at 826 in early February, with a gradual decrease to 373 by the end of March. Active users increased from 953 at the start of the quarter to a peak of 1.7K in early February, before settling at 1.4K.
